Do you ever feel a little overwhelmed by how much you do? Yeah, you definitely have your fair share of projects. All the plans with it are up in the air still. Definitely wanna try and do something else this year. I just don’t see the point of not continuing that in some way. People definitely come out and, I hope, enjoy it. Everything since then, each time we do it, it’s just been really, really fun. It was just ridiculously fun and had us thinking wait, why don’t we just do at least a couple more shows.

we only got to practice for like two days and then we did it. Especially with Julia Brown we’re kind of laboring intensely over an album and we definitely need something to break that up. Not announce it, It’ll just be really fun. Then we started, kind of as a joke, we were like why don’t we do kind of a short Teen Suicide set. Even if it’s just me playing some stuff ‘cause you know I’m friends with the bands coming through and I wanna see ‘em and it’ll be fun. I really wanted to do something and I told her I’ll try and throw something together but it probably won’t be a Julia Brown set. Well, when there was that tour that was Crying and Coma Cinema and they were playing a show together in Baltimore at a venue our friend books at and she asked if we could do a set, a Julia Brown set or anything, even though we weren’t booking then. What made you guys decide to start playing again? I’m glad you were at the Philly one ‘cause that was kind of the highlight I think.

Just less people than I thought there would be. The last show would have been better but there was an ice storm and everything, but it was still fun. You just finished up a mini-reunion tour with Teen Suicide. Funeral Sounds Investigative (we’re calling it that permanently) member Charles Jones got to interrogate Sam Ray of Julia Brown, Ricky Eat Acid and Teen Suicide about music and drugs.
